Lanman Oil has sold its Lambol's service stations in Charleston, Mattoon Miller Road, and Tuscola to Casey, and its Mattoon Charleston Avenue location to an independent operator. The company will continue to serve as a fuel distributor and operate it's Jersey Mike's locations.
Ballplaying brothers Davis, Madden and Meade opened their J3 Training Academy in late 2024 in part of the Habor Freight building, 1201 Charleston Avenue East. They look forward to the nearby Emerald Acres ballfields opening this summer.
